Boomers slam Lithuania in basketball quarter-final on Day 12

The Boomers have made Australia proud, keeping their Rio Games campaign going by beating Lithuania 90-64 in a quarter-final match on day 12.

Led by 24 points from Patty Mills, 15 from Matthew Dellavedova and 16 from Aron Baynes, the Boomers increased their lead at every change and will now advance through to the semi-finals.

They are expected to play the winner of the later quarter-final between Serbia and Croatia.

It is the first time the Australian men's team has made the last four of the Olympic tournament since Sydney 2000.
